This was my first NVA purchase, the thirty day return period being the deciding factor as I was not sure it would have an effect. The quality of my mains was an issue with sound quality varying at different times of the day. With the BMU sound quality became consistent throughout.

My interest in NVA was sparked and cables, amps and speakers would follow.

All NVA amplifiers now come with free speaker cable.

The S80 and AP10P are supplied with a 3m stereo set of LS2 budget speaker cables. Upgrade to LS3 at time of purchase for only £75 (normally £130 extra).

The S150, S300, M300s and M600s are all supplied with free LS3 speaker cables (state lengths required, when ordering).

Incidentally, to give you an idea of how copper / component prices have increased... Richard stopped buying LS2 from when the price per 100m roll changed from £20 to £30 (a few years before then, it had been £7). The latest price is £109 per roll.

A kind NVA user has told me that the spring edition, No.58 of the Russ Andrew’s Connected magazine, has an article by the reviewer David Price talking about his old hifi equipment and an NVA AP30, in which he states he has lost touch with the brand.

We actually chatted with David around a month ago, and sent him a starter bundle to review for Stereonet online magazine. He mentioned he'd been chatting to an old friend about NVA. I didn't realise it was RA!
