Tomasz is due to fly to the UK on 10th April.

He will have a Covid test within 72 hours before departure. He will then book the compulsory 2 tests for when he is in the UK. And, to secure 'early release', we will then pay for an additional test after 5 days isolation. It will be pretty much the same process when he returns to Poland. A round trip that would normally cost around £150 will now cost closer to £800.

Overseas holidays look a bit tricky, going by those numbers. Imagine doing that for a family of 4! :o

But we have taken back "control" and the NHS has so much more money to give to Boris's chums for track and trace and other worthy scams ~~ sorry I meant schemes , so all's well with the UK :liar:

Not down to Brexit. Down to cost of Covid testing. Roughly £100 a go and he has to have 4 - 1 before flight, 1 after 2 days in UK, 1 after 8 days in UK, and an optional 'early release' test after 5 days in UK.

I miscalculated - add the cost of flights and airport parking and it's £1,000 for the return trip.

Brexit adds other costs and complexities, so it's pretty much the perfect storm. Fortunately, we have maintained a very low 'fixed costs' base, and we have all the stock we need to fulfil orders and upgrades.
