Lol.

I make sure that power cables are not running alongside signal cables, and that signal cables are kept away from transformers. Beyond that, I don't worry, not least because I'm swapping gear in and out frequently to test / demo. You should pop up, some time...
Fly over sometime you mean :)
As it turns out I booked my return flight to the uk 2 days ago, leaving on the 9th March so you may well have another visitor

After a quarter of strong sales, we are into the supply of new boards a fair bit sooner than we had anticipated. This one is the first of the 6 that are going into 3 new pairs of M600s...

We put the Cube prototypes on some rigid, open-frame stands (Something Solid). A more nimble presentation with greater separation. Also, playing around with distance to wall. Just a couple of inches one way or the other makes quite a difference with these. You may also spot that Tomasz has put a copy of 1984 in front of the bright white LED on the Schiit Dac...

I'm taken aback by how different these Cube prototypes sound on different stands. Who wants to come and listen to them??

Mapping the layout for the new, wide-case integrated. Won't be needing quite such a wide heatsink!

250va on output, 150va on input...

The prototype is up and running, in the workshop. I'll be taking it home to listen with the prototype Birch-Ply Cubes. For the moment, we have used 2 of the original AP70 acrylic control knobs, but we are prototyping the same sized knobs faced with the same satin matt finish as the cases. Decals not yet finalised...

The preamp wiring won't be quite like this in the production version, but for now we are keeping everything fully accessible. The volume pot is a TKD...

Satin case looks lush. ❤️

Serious question, what’s the merits of different size Toroidals in this unit? Thinking that (from memory) the big power amps didn’t?

Hi, mate,

Once you get past 150va on the input, we struggle to hear a difference.

The output stage is a different story, though. The benefit of the 250va is clearly audible.

I like the satin gloss contrast of case n knobs; Nva gold decals on the knobs could work leaving the case blank?
