I read somewhere on another forum that a surprising number of under 40s were present which is pleasing. Was the younger generation showing an interest in NVA?

Van? Couldn't you fit everything in your Volvo?

We took a spare of most items...but I have no spare Volvo.

We ended up lending our spare integrated to 3 Square Audio and our spare CDP to Les at Avondale Audio. Les is sending us a couple of Noble volume pots as a thank you, and I imagine that 3SQ will be sending a case of single malt....

And the Volvo has been replaced....

There were a few youngsters but mostly with parents. We showed them sweets and starter systems...

A difference between the new Cubes and the old is the detachable grilles with what looks to be finer mesh, a definite visual plus. I am wondering what effect they have on the sound.

Acoustically transparent cloth - we don't detect any change to the sound (compared to 'naked'). The big difference with the new Cubes is the drivers...

Just out of interest, will driver upgrades be available at some point for older Cubes, Cubette’s etc? I have a pair of Mk2 Cubette’s and they work superbly in a smaller room set-up that has always given bass response issues - until the Cubette’s came along….
