The ComSat Angels '7 Day Weekend' (1985)

Effectively a collection of singles which, in a universe with better taste, would have stormed the charts and ensured the Comsats their rightful place in Rock history. Unfortunately, and try as they might, that never happened and The Greatest Band In The World remain a secret known only to the initiated.

If songs like 'You Move Me' and 'Day One' don't get you up and grooving then you are beyond hope.

Independence Day was always a favourite, they're kind of like The Mighty Lemon Drops in the so so close but no cigar stakes of 80's indie bands.
