Marianne Faithfull - Come And Stay With Me - 45s 1964-69 (vinyl). The orchestration on many tracks is sublime. Includes the original Sister Morphine.
PJ Harvey / John Parish. Dance Hall At Louse Point. Great 90s alternative rock.
Bob Dylan - Self Portrait (Sundazed, Kevin Gray vinyl master). Much better than reputed, maybe one of his best.

Slinger he was quiet a talent for sure, had some Doll by Doll on today. Jackie Leven will long be remembered here that's for sure.

Ketil Bjornstad ' The Sea'

A superbly effective combination where Bjornstad's classically-orientated piano is accompanied by flowing, lonely cello and delicate percussion - then Rypdal's electric guitar sweeps in with power and grace.

Incredibly visual, descriptive music that comes over as an edgier Scandanavian version of Ludovico Einaudi's soundscapes.

Not a lot! RME dac is dead. Vinyl is good, though, so not a disaster.

Will probably bring the little Grace dac home from the office.

Tomasz is keen for me to explore Raspberry Pi, but I looked at their site and it appears to be gobledegook. I'm more likely to go looking for a 2nd hand NOS dac off ebay, lol.

If there was magic smoke then I didn't witness it. Was working fine yesterday, went to put some tunes on after dinner...dead. Checked the usual...not responding.

About 18 months old.
