Dave Bessell 'Dark Horses of the Sun'
A seriously moody release from Bessell, member of EM supergroup Node. The opening track even has wedges of doom-metal guitar to power things up to a rock-style intensity that reminds me of Ministry in places.
This is synth music with a threatening edge that pulls you into an almost visual universe of shapes and shadows.

This follow-up album is less demonic but just as descriptive in its aural visualisations. Helped by the downloaded WAV file coming in with HQ 24bit resolution.
A feast for the ears.
Bessell's solo and collaborative albums currently have a 30% discount at Din's Bandcamp store:
