The Dead Weather - Horehound

If you like Jack White you will probably like this although he is playing drums not guitar. I like his style of drumming. This album sounds massive, is very well recorded and has huge dynamic range. Winner winner chicken dinner.

Donald Byrd - Stepping into tomorrow (Blue note 1975). From my favourite era of his work.

Absolutely brilliant album, but I'd say that bout anything he recorded. "You've Lost That Loving Feeling," took some getting used to, but "Single Father," is the first thing of his I ever heard, on an Uncut magazine cover disc, and it's still, probably, my favourite Jackie Leven track.
