Just put on The Crusaders - Crusaders 1.

Silky smooth jazz fusion with some attitude from 1972. Street life was their biggest commercial success in 1979 but this early Crusaders stuff is better IMO. Then there is all the material they recorded as The Jazz Crusaders from1961 to 1970. Enough albums to play them for a whole month.

I saw Morrisey just after I am the quarry came out. I enjoyed it very much. He played a few Smiths tunes and the crowd went mental to those, especially How soon is now. Morrisey seemed a bit pissed off that Tte Smiths tunes got the best reaction. Suede head was the closest one of his solo offerings and arguably his best solo track. He is a bit of a dick though

The Best of Roxy Music. Wikipedia describes Bryan Ferry's voice as an elegant seductive croon   Sounds good to me but I think the bass sound and playing is what makes it for me. Sorry Bryan . He will be 76 this year
