Maccas new album, mmmh to me it's at best so so.
London Grammar first album, if you wait, it's a nice sound scape, it doesn't come close to moving me but its pleasant.
Macklemore and Ryan Lewis ~ Heist, somehow I missed them first time around but better late than never, hard hitting lyrics and to these ears a good vibe.

Heart 'Dreamboat Annie' (1975)

Anne and Nancy Wilson's debut album is a Led-Zep inspired blast of classic rock that rates (with me) as one of the finest moments of 70's music.

Finally reacquired on LP (after trying for years to track down a 'good' CD version and ending up with an SHM disc from Japan). The vinyl is just so rich and full, taking me to the teenager that played this to dust way back when.

Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark 'Organisation' (1980)

Another recent vinyl re-acquisition - OMD were a band I followed intensively from the first single 'Electricity' and I remember looking forward to the release of this, their second album, with great anticipation.

At the time I found this record to be somber and introspective after the wacky minimalist synth-pop they had done before. Now it reveals itself as a mature and carefully experimental move that points the way to the definitive 'Architecture & Morality'.

Did you manage to get the give away live single? An altogether terser work.

Of their first 3 LP's this one to me is the best, I 've also digitised A&M, will have to give it another listen.

Originally, back in 1980, I did get the bonus 7" with Organisation and those tracks are included on the CD in my collection.

The LP's that are available here are mainly Dutch and German pressings and the quality is high. But no bonus EP.
