I have to take back my words regards the new YES release.
With a cavalier flourish I gave the impression that here , with The Quest, YES were lacking positive attributes.

Well my comment is open to modification:
I gave the two CDS - why two when it basically could all fit on one??? - another listen and concluded I was too harsh. Much of the Quest is quite worthy.

These are the strong tracks:
The Ice Bridge (I think I read somewhere that this was written back in the olden times when Anderson was still with the band)

Dare To Know

The Western Edge

Damaged World (one or two other tracks here cover the theme of how we are driving the Earth to ruin.)

Leave Well Alone (the longest - and best - track, with a Howe solo building-up like Siberian Khatru.

Someone on another forum wrote that the second track on disc #2 was Beatle-esque in sound.
Wrong. Its ABOUT The Beatles, but sounds nothing like.
