An incredible album when it first came out and now in a revamped, remastered version. The 2LP set is sumptuous and immersive.
Dive in!
I bought this album not long after release and still love it. One of the tracks appears in the film 'baraka'- which is still in my, tiny, video colllection.

Dream Command 'Fire on the Moon' (1990)
Who? You might ask.
Tired after a consistent lack of commercial success and recognition, The Comsat Angels retreated into their own studio in Sheffield and self-produced an album that they released under the alias of Dream Command. Not surprisingly, it bombed and sank without trace.
Even I, as a fan of the band, never found out about it until years later.
A fresh listen reveals it to be an interesting record with the usually dour and serious Comsats sounding as if they are actually having fun playing together. It isn't a great Comsat Angels record but stands up well in between 'Chasing Shadows' and 'My Mind's Eye'.
