I have the Emerson, Lake and Powell album and it's pretty good. King Crimson also did 'Mars' on 'In the Wake of Poseidon' and you can hear its influence on quite a few other prog bands.
You be referring to "DEVIL'S TRIANGLE" Track form 'POSEIDON'.That sounds a bit MARS like but it's not "MARS". However CRIMSON used to actually do "MARS" live as part of their 1969 Live sets. You hear it on the 'EPITAPH' set & various COLLECTORS CRIMSON CD's.

I bought a copy, sometime in the 80s, but have to admit that it doesn't get much play here...compared to Camembert, Teapot & Egg. Time I gave it another spin.

Up next: GONG - LIVE BATACLAN 1973. This is not as good as the SHEFFIELD '74. They need to get the GONG 'LIVE IN OSLO 1974' Released as offficial cos its a good recording. One day hopefully

I hate coloured vinyl but it seems to be all the rage, nowadays, and it's often hard (or impossible) to get a black vinyl copy. Marketing bollocks.

The biggest annoyance this years for me is the Limited edition RSD release of BLACK SABBATH - MASTER OF REALITY, Every single detail is as the original 1st issue totally & utterly spoiled by pressing it on a Purple vinyl.
I just could not bring myself to part with £50 for a colour vinyl no matter how good the rest of the package was, so i just opted for the 2020 BMG edition

Yep. That would pee me off, too. I do think of coloured vinyl as the cheap 'non authentic' version.
