I will have to get to know him posthumously.

Try 'Deal Gone Down' (1974) with Maddy Prior on backing vocals.
Several compilations also available.

Maria Mendiola, singer with the duo Baccara who enjoyed a smash hit with the disco anthem Yes Sir, I Can Boogie.

Baccara were the first female duo to reach No 1 in the UK and the first Spaniards (ahead of Julio Iglesias)

Cabaret Voltaire's 'Red Mecca' opened up my tastes for the strange and esoteric. And they came from my family's home town of Sheffield.

The angels will be making weird music tonight.

RIP Rusty Young (Poco) April 14th and Paul Cotton (ex Poco) July 31st.
Poco were one of favourite bands of all time.
Rusty was a founder member. Paul was a fantastic guitarist and wrote many brilliant songs for Poco as did Rusty. Seen them live at Camden Lock 2006 and laterly here in the States as well.
Passed away within months of each other.
I had planned to see Paul in concert in the very near future.
Heartbroken.
