I am the proud owner of an original vinyl copy of "New Worlds Fair".
wow I have the CD and very fine it is too - currently listening to Space Rituals Otherworld, which is also very good.

RIP Nik, may your fluorescent, effervescent saxophone play on in Valhalla.

RIP Keith Levene.
I loved PIL, one of my musical regrets is never seeing them live.

This has made me revisit Metal Box - rebuilt in dub. When he is on form John Wardle aka Jah Wobble has a sense of rhythm and timing that pulls you in and doesn't let go.

Very sad news. The only time I saw him was supporting Status Quo on the Frantic Four reunion tour in Wolverhampton. It was not long after the news had come out that he did not have long left. Needless to say it was an emotional occasion. He played good a set and was really enjoying it along with the audience. (Daltry was not the singer). Was so pleased that the diagnosis turned out to be incorrect. As things turned out he was around for longer than two members of the main band on that memorable evening.

RIP
