First the disclaimer 😉 My music might not be your music but to balance out what I about to say I have been lucky enough to hear hundreds of live gigs, it's kinda my thing.
Last night was in the top 5 ~~~~ The Teskey Brothers at the Manchester Ritz and to top it off the unknown Australian support act Wilsn was brilliant and is destined for world wide recognition. Back to the Teskey Brothers, they live and breathe their music and it's shows, the power and emotion in Josh Teskeys voice is overpowering and Sam Teskeys guitar playing is as good as you will hear today. If you get the chance to see them then do it, do what ever it takes and if you're local gig is sold out, as much as it goes against the grain to say this, pay the ticket touts what they want because they are a music lover's dream 🙌🙌🙌

Following The Who cancellation, the Fish and Magnum concerts I would have been at next week have now been cancelled to be resheduled at a later date. This has come as a big relief in the current circumstances. The only other one I have a ticket for is Nick Mason's Saucerful of Secrets in early May. Will have to see how things transpire. Have not bought tickets for a number of bands I would like to see late in the year.

I think this thread will become very inactive.

Some bands have resorted to streaming concerts live via internet.

My Michael Kiwanuka gig was cancelled because he had laryngitis which was fine by me and last night I stayed at home rather than go to Manchester Academy to watch Grace Carter - I am not buying any more tickets until this situation has improved. As for the summer festival season, well I can't see any other outcome other than a blanket ban

The earliest the resheduled Fish concert will take place is December. Was just listening to Planet Rock and there was a request from someone "in lockdown" in Lanzarote. We have a family holiday booked there in a months time as well as a cruise at the end of May.
