So much better seeing the acts in person than on TV, the sub-bass, lighting and pyrotechnics! They had a pretty good sound system it has to be said!

Voyager were hugely entertaining!
Were you able to detect dynamic compression on the backing tracks live in the auditorium?

Through my AV system at home I was getting a DR rating of something like 3 or 4 from the broadcast.

It didn't seem compressed to me and I don't have a great tolerance of compressed music.

I was expecting to need earplugs to prevent damaging my already sensitive hearing but in fact it was very dynamic without the ear hurting part. The bass was probably a little excessive (a good thing!) but when we came out I didn't have the usual extra tinnitus that I'd get from say being in a pub with a jukebox playing.

These days my ears won't forgive me for overloading them, especially with compressed sound.

We were much better than Italians😀🤪
Finland won the public vote by a large margin.

I'm guessing that the panels are made up of Graham Norton types. The sort that can handle poppy numbers, but can't handle rock music.

I'd be happy to watch Kaanja in concert.
And Voyager. And Lord of the Lost. And Loreen. And Alika...
