A note on Wigwam. Rock band from Finland with English singer Jim Pembroke.
Key member in their early, progressive phase was bassist Pekka Pohjola who worked several times with Mike Oldfield and released a series of excellent folk/jazz/rock solo albums .

After Pohjola left, the band tried for a lighter and more commercial style with 'Nuclear Nightclub' (1975) which also makes more use of synthesizers. Style isn't far from Camel but a touch more bluesy.

Other good albums to try are 'Being' (1974) and 'Fairyport' (1971).

Is that the same Pekka that did ‘The Mathematicians Air Display’? And didn’t Mike Oldfield release the exact same album with a different title, under his own name?

I had this LP 'The Consequences of Indecisions' without really knowing what it was. It is a Pekka Pohjola album called 'Keesojen Lehto' featuring Mike Oldfield - who really enjoyed playing on it. A small record company released it in the UK but gave Oldfield's name prominence for sales reasons. Later, when Oldfield needed a bassist for his extensive 'Incantations' tour his first call was to Pekka.

Here is 'The Mathematician's Air Display'
