Nowt wrong with Teen Town though. I think Jaco plays most of tbe instruments on it.

For me it's Def Leppard, Bon Jovi and a few other softy rock bands.

I've never lost my love for old school soul music but the punk music that captured my heart and mind now leaves me shaking my head. The energy and rawness of the recordings are still evident but my now what my brain hears is bad singing, bad playing, bad timing and I can't get past this.

Can't say I have grown out of any bands, but I go through phases with them. Bowie was my teenage idol but I went right off him following Lets Dance, to return with Tin Machine. He was hit and miss after that, but I rate all the albums from Hours to Blackstar. I went off Iron Maiden when Smith and Dickinson left the band to be a big fan again when they returned. In the course of time I have come to like the Blaze Bailey albums. Last year my attention turned to doom metal bands who I had not given much attention to. It almost seems like a preminition of what was to come. The opening of Cathederal's Last Spire album sums up the times we are living in, even if it is a rip off of of a scene from Monty Python and the Holy Grail.

Genesis........ . Only kidding.

But I'm not go to see them next year. 70 year olds who look frail and past thier prime, isn't my idea of genesis.
