Damn you, Fretless - you've got me googling EUB's now. And I see the Ibanez is 32" scale - the same as my custom basses!!! Expensive but not stupidly so too.... :naughty: :think:

If I had a pound for every "last" guitar or bass I've bought... I'd probably have enough to buy a new guitar or bass. :lol:

Just learning a few songs to play a short set with a couple of friends at my 60th birthday party in a monthor so. The set includes The Clash's 'Rock the Casbah' - a favourite from my (much) younger years. I was listening to it thinking, 'Hmmm, doesn't sounds like Paul Simonon's usual style'. Sure enough, it turns out it was written and played by Norman Watt-Roy. No wonder it's got a bit more going for it!

Do you mean the bass line was written and played by Norman ? I thought the song was written by Topper Headon ?

Exactly that - bass line was written and played by Norman.

I am currently revisiting a lot of old stuff including John Wardle aka Jah Wobble, I do this a couple of times a year. He's obviously a tad eccentric but thats ok I like odd balls.
