10cc again in October.
Saw them last year - probably the best show from a bunch of aged rockers I’ve seen!
Hopefully the same again.

Re: Got tickets to see - your next live listen
Went to see From The Jam last night at Leeds Beckett University. I must have been the youngest person there Mostly bald, overweight old men with personal hygiene issues.
Support was The Skids. I thought the skids were very enjoyable. Front man was very energetic on stage for an old bloke. His jokes between songs were actually funny.
From The Jam were excellent . My eyes were glued to Bruce Foxton most of the time who's busy bass playing I love to watch. He has a great sound but sadly looking a bit wethered these days. I always thought he was the coolest of the three on videos back in the day but he didn't do much moving about and looked like he was having to concentrate. The front man is very good, sounds and looks like Paul Weller. The drummer was good but I didn't watch him very much - very odd with me being a drummer. There was also a keyboard player and percussionist.
I hope the person removed from the venue due to a medical emergency is ok. They got a big cheer as they left.

Re: Got tickets to see - your next live listen
Saw From the Jam a few years back and Foxton was leaping about. They played a smaller venue on this tour and I did not go. Being very selective with AC/DC costing an arm and a leg. The "cheap" train tickets to London came on sale yesterday £62.

Must be the advancing years taking their toll. He did that swaying his guitar neck side to side but definitely no jumping
If that's the price of cheap train ticket then how much are the expensive ones ?

Re: Got tickets to see - your next live listen
It was 2019 when I saw Bruce Foxton leaping about on stage. I am wondering what effect the advancing years have had on Angus Young 's on stage energy levels. He has just turned 69.
I have not been to London by train for 11 years and then it was over £100, paid for by work.

Re: Got tickets to see - your next live listen
Apparently Bruce Foxton had cancer a couple of years ago and in 2019 reported that his hearing and sight were failing.
