My dad used to play Perry Como tapes in the car. It wasn't a pleasure and I didn't feel guilty about 'losing' them. My mum's Petula Clark tapes were OK though

Maybe it's an age thing? (It was my grandmother who was the big fan,) but where would we all be without "Magic Moments?"

The Faces are one of my favourite bands and I think Ronnie Wood is wasted in the Rolling Stones. Rod Stewart's early albums are class as are the two in the Jeff Beck Band. He took a nose dive when he became a tax exile and went out with Brit Eckland. Some decent material since but nothing to compare with the early 70s and late 60s. His autobiography is well worth reading, unlike Ronnie Wood's.

I am with you on Ronnie Woods book, boring does not get close.

As for guilty musical pleasures, well, I really did enjoy Kylies and Dolly's Glastonbury sets, I guess a few drinks helped but there was a genuine feelgood factor to both of them

@slinger - Saw your reference to Paul Young - thanks for reminding me
Cant remember how it came to be but somehow I recenly got directed to Paul Young on The Tube - link below. I missed it first time round -there is just something about those 80's backing singers - Guilty (not exclusively musical) pleasures

Also Robbie Williams ( sorry )

I've got a Des O'Connor CD and I enjoy playing it now and then.

Also, I like Nina and Frederick and lots more from the 50s and early 60s.

A full list might be too much for those of a weak disposition. ;)
