'More than 90 lost recordings of BBC Radio 4's Desert Island Discs have been discovered by an audio collector from Lowestoft in Suffolk.

I read about that, this morning. There are some really interesting guests in the trove that was found, but it was a much politer age, so don't expect any really searching questions from the sixties and seventies. :lol:

There was a Radio four program about this morning "Raiders of the Lost Archive" apparently the person who had the lost Desert Island disc progs on tape also had four missing Hancock's half hour episodes. The Lost archive was a good listen - One of the Hancocks will be broadcast on Radio four on 18th October at 6:30 pm. Just saying

I love Desert Islands Discs, I quite often select people I know nothing about them just to broaden my horizons
