Buying 2nd hand hi-fi? Stay at home - use couriers.

Unread post by savvypaul »

Just a reminder that non essential travel is a breach of the current lockdown rules in England. This means either using a courier or waiting until the restriction is lifted to travel to collect items...no matter how tempting those classic speakers might be.

As a lawyer (on the sick) , I reckon I could make a credible defence that a hifi is essential travel.

Winning would depend on the judge being an audiophile.

I picked my other half up from Heathrow last week. I considered that essential travel. I took with me a copy of the flight tickets in case I was stopped by the police. Not sure if buying hifi would be deemed essential, no problem within Wales at the moment.

People have been in Wales. Some German holidaymakers were fined and sent back. I was a bit wary croepssing the Bridge.

No need to worry as Avon and Somerset police are useless twats. Failed to break up an anti lockdown march last week and couldn't stop people tearing down statues.

I think they decided on a diplomatic withdrawal. Videoed it and delayed justice.

The people who threw the slave trader in to the river have felt the cold hand of justice.
