Pioneer PD-S904 CD Player

Unread post by montechristo358 »

I'm sure most remember Pioneers Stable Platter CD Players from the 1990s

Imho the best transport mechanism I ever cam across at real world pricing.

I bough this new from Richer sounds back in my university years. A lot of money in those days. I know I'll regret getting rid. But you can't keep everything

I've used it as a standalone and latterly with a variety of DACs via TOSLINK or COAX depending on my mood.

The one thing I didn't like about this machine was the captive power lead which made it both challenging to get in my rack and meant I couldn't take advantage of better quality mains power leads. Its therefore been modified to use a industry standard IEC socket on the rear panel.

Full working.

Comes with

Power Lead
Original Remote Control
Original User Manual
Original Box
