I'm hoping that the SNPs recent troubles will swing some Scottish seats to Labour.

Starmer has consistently focused on what is necessary to get Labour elected. I can respect that.

Labour are a long way from where they need to be, but in the current environment they are the best we can hope for.

Maybe Rayner will be able to take the party more towards the middle ground and perhaps even stray into vaguely socialist territory, rather than the versions of alt right that they both currently inhabit for fear of incurring the wrath of the Seig Mail or Stormtrooper Express.

Suella Braverman acted like a cowardly woman when she was caught speeding - and she tried to arrange a personal one on one speed awareness course.

When informed that this would not be possible, she took the 3 points instead.

Are we supposed to trust a Home Secretary that displays questionable ethical standards and then questionable judgement?

The good news is yes, I can.

The bad news is, it's with Jonathan Gullis.

The Notsobraverman said that she is "confident nothing untoward happened".

Has she learnt nothing from the Boris tenure at Downing Street?

I'm starting to think she's a plant from the Labout party to guarantee them a landslide victory at the next election.
Or if not that. she's as self-aware as a plant.

Being "confident nothing untoward happened". is not exactly a denial, is it?

Bearing in mind that whatever happened she was not only there to see it happen but was actually a part of whatever happened, I'd expect a more positive ...well ...denial. I reckon she's just re-using Johnson's old scripts.

If you want a proper tragicomedy, try following Thai politics. It's a fine mix of Machiavelli and Kafka, with a lot of Monty Python and League Of Gentlemen . . .
