New Site Title & Description drafts
I am suggesting a new Site Title and Description to help with search engine visibility:
Title: HiFi Subjectivist Forum by Richard Dunn of NVA
Description: Discussion threads, articles, bake-offs, NVA loan scheme, orders & support. Plus our infamous 'Elsewhere on the Web' - the forum posts they tried to ban.
The Title is all about the terms that people might use to search: Hifi Forum / NVA / Richard Dunn / Hifi Subjectivist
The Description is a guide to the content for browsers and Google, plus other reasons why people might want to click through.
Feedback, please.

I'm new here so take my comments with the amount of experience I have of this forum....
Personally, I accept the EOTW comment could increase footfall but maybe only for "rubbernecking" reasons and I'm not entirely sure that's the reason you want folk to come here.
Just my 2p

You do realise that EOTW is often taken to mean End Of The World. I didn't think we had a thread on that.scotty38 wrote: ↑Fri Jan 26, 2018 11:24 am I'm new here so take my comments with the amount of experience I have of this forum....

However, having deduced that you mean Elsewhere On The Web, I agree that we don't want rubbernecking but we do want to advertise that we carry what others try to ban.

Rubberneckers are welcome, we all do it to a degree automatically, we see something that is interesting or might be entertaining or even horrifying - car crashes.

Re: New Site Title & Description drafts
Minor amendment to Draft Site Description to incorporate 'reviews' and keep within optimum range for no. of characters:
Title: HiFi Subjectivist Forum by Richard Dunn of NVA
Description: Discussion threads, articles, bake-offs, NVA reviews, loan scheme, orders & support. Plus 'Elsewhere on the Web' - the forum they tried to ban.

Re: New Site Title & Description drafts
I am probably being pedantic here, but I don't think a forum is "by" any one person. I understand the need for key words to meet Google search parameters, but I don't like the title as it stands - though it probably would not have any practical effect on whether I visited HFS or not.
But as an alternative could I suggest, "Richard Dunn of NVA invites you to the Hifi Subjectivist Forum".

I am not a number. I am a free man
