There has to be a new vote. A vote to be in was set aside by a vote to be out and a new vote is just as valid, even if the time scale is a lot shorter. People have far more ability now to make a choice from reality as opposed to two created delusions. I really do not care which way the vote goes as long as it has at least 5% and hopefully 10% majority in the decision.

Problem is there are now three choices instead of two - in, out, neither in nor out (then do the hoky koky and turn around, thats what its all about  ).

I think the vote options can be two, in as before or out under WTO rules, any mid ground will put us where we are now. Though out with WTO rules still doesnt solve Ireland.

It changes nothing in my mind, if out we just ignore Ireland, you watch how quickly the EU sorts out a trading relationship. At the moment they (especially the Irish) are blackmailing us, if we just leave and do nothing about the border and leave it open we are blackmailing them - just watch the fun.

The border is stoopid anyway. It seems there is a farmer who regularly walks his cows across the border and then back again and makes money from it.

Sorry, but I think thats the same flawed thinking that has lead to us being here. The assumption that we are somehow special. While us leaving will hurt the EU, changing their rules to do what we want will hurt them even more, so they wont do it. And the same assumption about the Irish border, we seem to think its just up to use if its open or not, its not, there are two sides to a border (obvious, but seems to be forgotten) if we leave it open, they will be forced to close it, so it will be closed.

I am coming to the conclusion that May will have to go soon so negotiations can be reopened (unless she achieve something in the next few days). The backstop which is causing the problems was drummed up by the current Irish govt and EU went along with it. Previous Irish PM gave just a commitment to open border. There is no legal interconnection with the Good Friday Agreement. Pure Fantasy and lies. Also Labour are lying when they say they can negotiate something else. The present agreement is as close as your going to get perhaps with some tweaking if someone with better negotiating (blackmailing) skills takes over. One answer to this would be a french style protest and occupy parliament until 29th march so the idiots can't vote on anything and we legally leave by default. As far as I'm concerned vote has to be respected and we leave somehow.

Theresa May has today had breakfast with Dutch Prime-minister Rutte, then she's off for lunch with Merkel.

Unfortunately, from this photo, Mr. Rutte looks like he was taking the 'Having Mrs. May for breakfast' a little too literally.
Didn't know he was a vampire. :o

What is on the table is not going to change much and won't get through Parliament. It is looks like it is either out with no deal or remain. A second referendum, now we all know the consequences, seems inevitable. There will be a clear majority for remain and we will look rather silly in the eyes of the world for allowing the whole farce to happen.
