As to books I found it hard due my dyslexia as a kid.
So my Chemist teacher Dr, Hopkins help me with that, then I got the bug so I started with "War and Peace" then "The God Father" then all the "Hornblower books" next came all of "Arthur C Clarke" I tried "Isaac Asimov" but could not follow it well.
The my friend Dr, David Yurth wrote a book with me in it as a nutty engineer on a space mission, the sod kill me off and then clones me, what a rat friend eh.

I agree about Agent Farnsworth. ;)

Here's a useless fact for you: Both Anna Torv, who plays Olivia Dunham, and John Noble who plays Walter are actually Australians. It confused the Hell out of me the first time I heard John Noble interviewed.

I finished watching "Midnight Mass" (Netflix) the other night, and I've been trying to think of some way to describe the experience without giving anything at all away, and there really isn't much I can say.

So: It held my attention, there were quite a few "I didn't see that coming," moments, actual spookiness, and that's about it. Many of your initial suppositions will, quite possibly, be proven wrong as it progresses through its 7 episodes, and some will be spot-on, just not always the ones you think. It's best watched without Googling what it's all about, ignorance may not be bliss, but it does make the whole thing much more enjoyable, and impactful. It's not got any real distinct parallels, other than the setting perhaps, but The Wicker Man would be a distant relative.

Had a bit of a TV binge fest recently. I've taken advantage of a NOW TV £1 pm promotion. First up was the first two series of Succession. Wonderfully over the top with some great dialogue and a cast of the most dislikeable characters one could imagine. Great fun with the added bonus of the wonderful Brian Cox in the lead role. Next up was the first series of Mare of Easttown starring Kate Winslett, a rather good whodunnit that I watched in a day. Finally I switched over to BBC iPlayer and watched the French period drama Paris Police 1900 that has just started on BBC 4. Again I really enjoyed this and if you like Ripper Street and Berlin Babylon then this will be probably up your street. Ridley Road is up next after a break from TV and back to music for a while.

This came out a few year ago, and I was bored so I watched it again, and kids will like.

Had a couple of late night binges on COBRA (Sky Max). Can't make up my mind if it's really good or really bad. Perhaps, it's so bad...it's good.
