I'm sure it'll be "business as usual" for the Conservatives, and for Labour. Everything will be the fault of Jeremy Corbyn, except if they take a vote on that, in which case Starmer will whip the party to abstain in case some of the blame for anything attaches itself to him. I think we may hear the phrase "we didn't support it," and variants of it, quite a lot if the end of 2020 was anything to go by.

Or blame the Wokes. 2020 the year of the Woke. 2021 the year of more Wokery.

One thing's for certain, everybody will be blaming everyone else.

At least someone said bye-bye to the EU with a smile... https://www.itv.com/news/2020-10-27/uk-ticket-holder-wins-giant-79m-euromillions-jackpot

Some time back I told some one on Facebook that, despite voting remain her duty was to work for the good of the country. She didn't like it. If you are registered to vote you have agreed to abide by the results of an election or referendum, even if you don't participate. Now tell me that you don't agree.

In my book, if you don't participate in the vote without very good reasons you have no right to criticise the result, however, the referendum to leave or remain in the EU was not legally binding.

It was David Cameron, the original architect of the four-year debacle we've all just been through, invoking Article 50 of the Treaty on European Union (a.k.a. Treaty of Lisbon, or the Lisbon Treaty, which represented the formal notification of our decision to leave. Cameron had previously promised to abide by the result, and wouldn't you know it? He keeps one fekkin' promise in his career as a politician, and it's that one.

Consequently, there was no obligation for the man on the Clapham omnibus to abide by the result of the referendum.

Now, if anyone has any more hairs they'd like splitting...

What interests me most about the Brexiteers is what will be said when our economy compares even more pitifully against Germany, or even worse is out performed by the EU as a whole, whom will be blamed then? This is their show now so I'm sitting back waiting for Boris's great leap forward with interest.

Given their less than stellar performance in 2020 I'm not holding my breath, but Brexit was supposed to be their best thing so now it's time for them to prove us wrong.

We are waiting

The devil is in the detail. But there ain't no detail.

Teresa may says the deal is worse than the one she negotiated.

It's going to be fun as the detail comes out.

For instance, EU fisherman's rights to fishing in English waters is better than it was when we're in the EU.

The economic failure of Brexit will be firmly parked at the front door of the C19 pandemic and we will be told things would have been worse had we not left ~~~~ and I regret to say there will be millions, maybe tens of millions of the UK population will fall for that pack of lies 😕
