Even the thickest most stupid morons who voted leave must be aware that Brexit is the reason for the resurgence of violence in Northern Ireland after twenty three years. No doubt they think this is a small price to pay.

i would suggest violent arseholes are the reason there's a resurgence of violence.

We don't all riot and kill people because we don't agree with political decisions

The situation is a lot more complex than that. It only needed one little spark and Brexit was a big one.

I broadly agree with you.
But: what do you do if your wishes are ignored, or worse, steamrollered, and you feel like there's nothing you can do to control your own life?
Nobody should break the law.
Unless the law is unjust or unfair. Then all right-minded people should "rise up."

A little something I cobbled together in Photoshop after seeing a comment on Farcebook.

I think you need to read up on Irish history as there is a lot more to this than the consquences of a hard Brexit. There is a genuine sense of betrayal.

But when rioting is one of the only ways you perceive to gain significant status in your life, then given the right (wrong) influences (paramilitary gangs), it's a relatively small step to take.

If we want those kids to stop rioting then we have to break the grip of the paramilitaries and other sectarian / criminal gangs. News is that some youth centres will reopen - it was ideological stupidity (Tory austerity) that closed them. NI has had 10 years of it . kids need role models, prospects, jobs, housing but funding has been slashed. You reap what you (don't) sow.

Spotted this info in a newsletter from Din Records, might be helpful for those shipping to the EU.

We also have had the IOSS number through from Bandcamp now for orders shipping from here in the UK to our EU friends. For these orders we will use the Royal Mail online Click & Drop service which allows us to put all the relevant information in for import into EU countries. This should thus prevent any problems with potential double VAT payments in the future.
