Christmas audio wish list.

Unread post by Ordinaryman »

Just for fun. If Santa's wish list worked what would you ask for. Something you have always wanted or desired. Don't forget were talking audio stuff here
For me it would be an Nva integrated complete with mm input along the lines of aap50/70. Failing that some Ls5/6 or cube3s.
What would you ask for :epopc:

Apart from the obvious top-of-the-line NVA black box and cable suite - complete with the pending 3-way speakers - I'd like a Primare DAC 30, simply because I'm curious as to how it would sound with my Primare CD player and amp, and at £2K I'm never likely to find out any other way.

[EDIT]
Actually, thinking about it, I'd like a complete Primare setup please, as my two bits counted as "entry-level" in their catalogue. A pair of A35.2 power amps, an I35 modular integrated amplifier, and a DD35 – CD transport with an I35 DAC. If there's any room left in Santa's sack I wouldn't mind trying a PRE35 Prisma modular preamplifier and network player too.
Amps - NVA P50, AP30, A40, Stanislav Palo Tube Headphone Amp BB 85
Speakers - Monitor Audio Silver RX2
Cables - NVA LS1+LS3, SSC, Gotham S/PDIF, IBRA Optical
Digital - NAD C516BEE, SONY ST-SDB900 DAB TUNER, TEAC UD-H01 DAC
Analogue - Pro-Ject Debut Carbon Esprit SB, Graham Slee Gram Amp 2 Phono
Cans - Grado SR80, ATH-M50X

An integrated starter amplifier and starter speakers, optimised for matching and, if possible, for a maximum of 500 euros for the amplifier and a maximum of 500 euros for the pair of speakers. The amplifier must have at least two inputs.

It doesn't matter if it's not for Christmas 😁

A pair of Hartley 24 inch woofers.

Or the tooling, the materials and the expertise to make my own Hartley 24 inch woofers.
