Bob was a lovely bloke, if he didn't show you his teeth  He had heard our music, liked it and wanted to play it on his show eventually. Our music had a country flavour to it. He was talked at for an hour though . Richard Whiteley just sat on his arse all night in a corner looking unapproachable.

The singer and guitarist ended up ruining that recording. They managed to get so far up their own arses I thought they would never return. Wanted to do bits over and over again, changing things constantly, getting grumpy and ultimately falling out with the producer and recording company.

It was a brilliant time in my life as i played with Chris Helme from the Seahorses around that time too. Drumming was my life. But all good things come to an end. I left the band Wooden Horse because I couldn't be in the same room as the song writer without wanting to kill him. I then joined a very busy Queen tribute band and it all went down hill from there  I didn't like Queen very much and I liked them even less after being in that band for two years. Rock drumming is not my style. I always wanted to funk it up and get told off.

I had some cd copies somewhere but I think i threw them away as i couldn't bring myself to listen to them. The bass player (Paddy) will have some as he keeps everything and he's in the wedding band i am deputy drummer for.

I think the original live recording of all our songs that we did at Soundworks was by far the best. The feel got ruined by the studio recording process on the later efforts. Shame .

It's not going to be much of a scar.
