Played at a 70th Birthday doo at Skipwith Hall in the beautiful village of Skipwith near York last night. Witnessed some awesome dancing from the crowd and some lovely food which was slow cooked in an aga for hours. Yummy. Plus endless cups of tea.
We learned a couple of Van Morrison tracks for this gig and I must say I thoroughly enjoyed playing them. Best crowd reaction award for the night goes to Fire by Jimi Hendrix.
Another gig on Sunday at the village festival.

Setting up earlier for the village festival. We will be rocking Church Fenton at approximately 1730 hours. All my biggest fans will be there including the vicar and the local transvestite
No Beatles or Stones tracks will be harmed in the making of this performance.

Re: Stu
A neighbour sent me a photo of a photo she took in the late 80's of my pet donkeys. Sarah and Beauty . They lived to almost 40 years of age and I was devastated when they passed. They could somehow tell if you were feeling a bit down and come give you a hug. If you were sitting down they would come up and put their head over your shoulder. Donkeys are on the whole very placid and loving animals which can be very comforting in times of stress or sadness. I miss them so much even though it is 19 years since they went. One day I might get some more

I've never owned a donkey, but I did buy one of their jackets.
