AI image stuff.

Unread post by slinger »

I seem to remember that TheMarlin has an interest in AI image generation, and it's become my latest hobby too. I've been beating my head against a wonderful (free, and downloadable) program called Fooocus for some weeks now, and finally, I've got something to show for it. I have created my first character, named Gina, completely from scratch. I used 35 images, which I generated myself, so Gina is completely original, and not based in any way, shape or form on an actual human being. She's been uploaded to the site I use, and I'm proud to say she's had 15 whole downloads over the past 3 days or so. OK, so I'm hardly setting the AI work alight, but for a 70-year-old noob I'm more than happy. She's been used too, and not just downloaded, filed, and forgotten.

Anywho, meet Gina. Comments both positive and negative (but not dumb or rude) gratefully received.

She can look like this too...

I won't post the nudes.

I would have no idea where to start with something like that. Well done, if you hadn't told us, I would never have known it was a AI generated picture.

Are you going to create an AI generated car, house, boyfriend, children, grand-children, mother, ex, mother-in-law, secret lover, pet hamster to go with your AI Gina? :epopc:

What do other people do with this AI character you created?

I only used AI art for a weekly competition on a guitar forum, then made portraits of member here based on their recent posts and forum names.

Not done anything with AI art outside of that.

They can use her as a character in their own artwork. It's as simple as that really The added bonus from the way I created her is that they can put her in whatever type of (legal) scenario they wish, as no part of her was created from an actual person, living or dead.

I took a quick look at the website, and it looks like another where I'll never figure out what prompts to include in order to get a decent image.
I'd love to be able to do them for my D&D and Vampire campaigns . . .

Well, perhaps there's hope for me at last. A quick fumble around with just some very basic inputs let me do this after just half an hour, so if I rtfm, then there might be a few good images waiting in the ether :)
