It's an oldish trend that the Grauniad has cught up with, but when was the last time you heard Tannoy's mentioned in a newspaper?

What’s a “newspaper”?

Good music, quality music... but what type of music? Classical? Classic Rock? Prog? J-pop,?

I don't care how good the system is; if it's playing music I don't like, I won't stay, so I'd like to know how the music is chosen.

I'm guessing that it will play the music that attracts regular customers ...but they might still have a 'hairy classical swamp-blues prog rocker' hour once a week...

“The main focus that we put towards the public are our speakers, because the speakers are the crown jewels, the showpiece.” In Ōdiobā’s case, that means vintage 1970s Tannoys that have been lovingly handbuilt for the space by Tran and a maker in Germany.

They should try upper end 1970's Altec, Bozak, EV, JBL, UREI speakers.
The yanks were a few steps above Tannoy when it came to Crown Jewel Speakers.

The Tannoy DC's I've heard have been better than many, possibly all, slimline ported low efficiency speakers I've heard.

However, the upper end American speakers from those brands from that era that I've heard have been a step or two or three up again.
