Re: Should Britain remain in Europe. ?
Another question if people don't mind.
As I understand it Great Britain and Germany are the two economic leaders in Europe. Not sure if France is keeping pace, or slightly behind.
But does the expanded market place of the rest of Europe really offer that much economic promise to make the risk of having countries like Greece of Spain be on the verge of default all the time? And will the economic loan packages really pay for themselves, or is it staving off the inevitable.
Actually there are a whole bunch of countries with National debt ratios that are plain scary. US being one of them of course. But there are other industrialized first world nations that have debts that are enormous to their GDP, and look to never be able to be paid off.
I wonder how long this world economy can run on debt, and when a drastic adjustment will occur. You would think someone would eventually have to fail, and that a domino effect might follow.

Why is the government 'obligated to leave'? Cameron would almost certainly resign in the event of a vote for Brexit; there would be a leadership election on the Tory party, but the Tories would not need to, and if they have any sense would not, call a general election. They're there till 2020, like it or not.Classicrock wrote:Whatever the result there will be a lot of politicians putting the knives into each other. However if leave the government is obligated to leave apparently - but I still don't trust it to happen.

Tweedled-in and Tweedle-out
Agreed to have a battle;
For Tweedle-in said Tweedle-out
Had spoiled his EU membership.

Close eh........Looks like we're leaving the EU.
But Scotland vote to remai by a massive 62%
Independence Day 2, coming soon, which with England not allowed to vote, Scotland will at long last win its Independence.
A win, win, here then......
As Farage says, a monumentous result for decent people......... Cheers Nige.

Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall,
Humpty Dumpty had a great fall;
All the king's horses and all the king's men
Couldn't put Humpty together again.
I'm off to change my nationality .....

Well NVA products are 10% cheaper now in the US and 7% cheaper in the EU. Every cloud has a silver lining.

Looks like it's going to be "out of the frying-pan and into the fire" for the UK.
