The problem now is not me. Have you read the insults aimed at me at Audio-Talk, even Marco in his heyday didn't go that far. No it has gone too far, it (and he) are best forgotten. It was fun while it lasted.
It's a real shame Jammy was a brilliant bloke when he was on form, and as more than several members will agree, generous to a fault. I was lucky enough to win a prize in one of his spur-of-the-moment competitions, and it wasn't a cheap prize either. I know he's also donated excess gear to folks.
We realise (with my Admin hat on now) that he's going to be missed, and you know that we'll miss the old Jammy as well, but he was constantly insulting people for reasons only he could fathom and just being downright bloody rude for 95% of his posts. Unfortunately he wouldn't take the hint that it was the wrong thing to do. This place is home to many attitudes and personalities that not everyone agrees with, or even likes, but we live and let live. Jammy unfortunately went well beyond the pale and then kept on truckin'.
His account stayed active and we were ready for him to come back if he wanted to toe the line, but it now looks like he's burnt the final bridge and in true Jammy tradition if you don't like if you can fuk off you bunch of cnutz.
Jammy, gone but not forgotten.

My first impression of him was not good, not long after i joined here,
he posted a vile racist attack on Din JunHui, right away i though what a low life bigotted arsehole,
Doc gave him a telling off, through time i grew to like him and thought he was good fun,
his vogan poetry and some of the daft things he puts out is comedy gold,
shame he's gone over the edge this time, he's missed for sure.
P.S. i understand how Doc feels about the attack over at AT, Doc was to him like D'Amato is to Tyson.
In PM's and direct contact Jammy is a very pleasant person. Also, as said, generous and friendly.
Great taste in music. Supportive of all things fun and entertaining.
Here's a well-known song than seems appropriate.
To Jammy - A lovely little thinker
But a bugger when he's pissed.
Immanuel Kant was a real pissant
Who was very rarely stable
Heidegger, Heidegger was a boozy beggar
Who could think you under the table
David Hume could out-consume
Schopenhauer and Hegel
And Wittgenstein was a beery swine
Who was just as sloshed as Schlegel
There's nothing Nietzche couldn't teach ya
'Bout the raising of the wrist
Socrates, himself, was permanently pissed
John Stuart Mill, of his own free will
On half a pint of shandy was particularly ill
Plato, they say, could stick it away
Half a crate of whiskey every day
Aristotle, Aristotle was a bugger for the bottle
Hobbes was fond of his dram
And Rene Descartes was a drunken fart
"I drink, therefore I am"
Yes, Socrates, himself, is particularly missed
A lovely little thinker
But a bugger when he's pissed

Jammy was kind enough to to give me a SC interconnect, not expensive I know, but he also paid the postage costs. I pretty much ignored any of his bad points, putting it down to drink or him just going over the top with his Jammy image. To Jammy.
