ive always lusted over a pioneer plc-590 so when one appeared on ebay i placed a bid and won!
i believe the arm is an Audio Technica AT 1100
it should be with me early next week so until then heres a pic and some info.
Ta, its perfect for the at carts I like, the at150 sa and the 440mlb.
At the moment i have the 150 in a mayware formula 4 on my lenco conversion ( the demonstrator model I built), my goldring eroica on the robot armed jvc ql-y5f I restored that the wife won't let me sell as its automatic, and nothing on the jbe as I took the mayware off it. The at440mlb needs a home too.
I also have an acos lustre gst1 that I had to have (doesnt have the base and needs abit of work) that is to go on a planned 2 armed lenco demonstrator similar to the 99 I did for the doc for mc duties, with a light arm being the other one.
Stick the alphason arm on that pioneer and you'll never want another deck again.
Imo they are stunning
Well it certainly LOOKS the part, it'll be interesting to hear your findings.
