We have discussed here the grey area between things that are not (at the moment) proved by science or measurement like cable differences and the real Snake oil stuff. Well I have an example here from Gazjam at TAS :-
"Going back to SR Fuses...
Currently modding the bejezus out of my Oppo 203 bluray player, and fitted an internal linear power supply to it, which had an AMR Gold fuse fitted.
Room for improvement, so took a punt on SR's new Blue fuse and replaced the AMR with it.
Hell yeah.
Big leap in both audio and video quality even with the linear psu fitted.
All I did was change the fuse.
Not making any final judgement as its a new PSU, new fuse, new IEC inlet, new internal cabling so things will change over the next couple of weeks.
That foirst impression though, yup...the fuse makes the player sound significantly better to me than with the AMR Gold fitted."
I suppose we have to put it in the grey area, but from my experience there is no difference to the sound (haven't tried picture quality
