I had to Google Sanken and I am none the wiser except that they say the specialise in power semiconductors. Unfortunately the specific comment is hype too, four output transistors per channel may, or may not, be a good idea depending on the circuit configuration. The Doc's mantra of "no component is better than a component" is relevant here, if two transistors can do the job, four is degrading the sound (Class AB or Class B needs a minimum of two).
Many a good well regarded amp has a single toroidal transformer powering two channels. Having sufficient current from the transformer is what matters, some designers like to get that using two others are comfortable with one. Obviously monoblocks will have one each.Yours with appreciation...... Mr confused.
- And secondly looking inside said Amplifier there just one big toroidial transformer? Is this really the best way 1 x big I thought NVA Amps had multiples of on either input or output?

The comment about the pre-amp using class a configuration is meaningless, almost all pre-amps use a class A output, the output isn't a high current and the power amp input is not current driven so they are just using words to fill the space.

All you will get from your question is other peoples opinions, if you want facts, then you will need to spend five years learning electronics to understand the answers, by which time you will not need the question answering anyway.So 690 views and 40 odd posts and I'm still no more educated than when I started (Bar the one sensible post)

All your question illicit is people's opinion. The advertisement is full of shite but beyond that either you forgot about it or you learn. There is no in between.

Absolutely, my comments are mere supposition, I didn't design the amplifier in question and I have no idea why the designer did things in the way they have been done. To be fair, I would like to know why they chose four output transistors per channel?

They will have looked at the expected power output required into various loads, then looked at the SOA curves for the output devices, then decide what safety margin they need and base the number of devices on those things.To be fair, I would like to know why they chose four output transistors per channel?
