Any Lenco owners in the North West?
Dear all, are there any Lenco-owning (preferably one of Vinyl Ant's refurbs), fellow Subjectivists who happen to reside in the North West and who might be able to accommodate a visit from my Chester-based self for a listen? I'm considering a commission with Ant and quite rightly he's suggested I listen to one before I take the plunge and potentially consign 25+ years of Rega ownership to the dustbin of history. I guess when I say the North West I'm really thinking of somewhere within a comfortable hour or two drive of Chester ideally. Thanks.

Sorry , I'm a bit North West for you in Glasgow . If it's any help my mate brought over his RP2 late last year to compare with my stock Lenco GL75 ( AT95 cartridge ) . The Lenco just sounded so much better . I'm sure Ant's modified GL75 will sound much better again than the stock one .
Hope this helps .

I'm about 3 hours away. I have 'The Grand Lady' from Ant, with a 12" Jelco arm and a 10" vintage Audio Technica broadcast arm.
Bit of a trek, I know, but you could also hear the new NVA power amps.

Savvy, thanks for the offer. Yes, maybe just a bit further than I'd want to do in a day, tempting though it is. Ant is actually closer where he is and has a Type 3 he can loan me, so that's an option also. It's looking as though I may find myself heading over there instead.

I'm in the north West and I own a lenco. The refurb was all my own work however.
I'm in Preston.

I'm sure there is nothing wrong with your one-handed effort Daniel.
