Off topic I know but -savvypaul wrote: ↑Sun Nov 29, 2020 5:34 pm Not a lot! RME dac is dead. Vinyl is good, though, so not a disaster.
Will probably bring the little Grace dac home from the office.
Tomasz is keen for me to explore Raspberry Pi, but I looked at their site and it appears to be gobledegook. I'm more likely to go looking for a 2nd hand NOS dac off ebay, lol.
If I can put together a Raspberry Pi/ Hifi berry streamer, then quite frankly anyone can. And for the money, the quality is good, not magnificent but certainly more than acceptable.
In terms of music
Jaz Coleman - Magna Invocatio - A Gnostic Mass For Choir And Orchestra Inspired By The Sublime Music Of Killing Joke. This actually is really rather good. I'm sort of looking forward to their next live sets, whenever they are, and whatever rather odd conspiracy theories they've cooked up during lockdowns 1 & 2
Steve Hillage - Live in England, a nice bit of hippy goodness to overcome any doom laden forebodings
Rainbow - Long Live Rock n Roll, to blow away any remaining cobwebs.
