I woke up this morning and can only assume that a horse kicked me in the upper-arm while I was sleeping, and then galloped across my body several times before buggering off into the sunrise. Sometimes it helps, my already being on reasonably strong prescription painkillers.

I had mine, but because I get lots of nasty reactions I took my EpiPen. This cause alarm bell to to chime, so two Doctors a nurse and a lovely admin lady, made me stay for over a hour. No reaction or any horrid crap. Now waiting for number 2.
Maria has had her first one and she has number two on Weds.

Now did any body get any problems, oh I am on warfarin so blood clotting may not be a problem,

I can't wait for this bloody bug to become extinct. Trapped in door now for nearly a year, OK gave me time to make some massive monster amps.

OH a tip, when sanding plaster the masks are useless. Your glasses still mist up and the dust stick to them, fog indoor !
It can be done so imagine it.

You poor sod, are sure it was a horse not a elephant, like my cousin got. And it snored all night she said.

Get well soon.

Thanks, Colin. Definitely a horse, and it was probably me doing the snoring in my case.

The wife and I just had our first jabs. SO well organised (Peterborough Showground. Basically drive in and walk through.) So easy. And so far zero side effects. Looking at it as if this is the beginning of the end of all this nonsense.

I forgot to add that we were there at 12 when they held the minutes silence for the victims of this terrible scourge. It was very moving to hear the bustle stop so completely for that short time. Genuinely brought a tear to my eye.

I had the Vauxhall Astra jab last Friday.

Slightly achy arm and a bit tired on Saturday but very mild.

I'm told they won't have the Astra jab in Europe unless they change the name to Opel Manta.

If invited GET THE JAB!! Anything else is potential suicide and a potential burden on everyone else.

If you are entitled and don't get an invite, get in touch with your GP and they will arrange it. I had to do it that way 'cos the web booking system screwed up.

Took my wife for her first Vauxhall Astra jab in our Corsa yesterday. She is feeling a bit "so so" today. They seem to be more lax than when I had mine four weeks agoas she did not have to show ID.

Anyone who refuses to have the jab is not only putting themselves at risk but everybody else. I think it should be mandatary to enter hospitality and entertainment venues. I wonder if it will be a requirement for the Wam show? The first of my rescheduled concerts is in September and if vaccination is not mandatory I could be seeking a refund.
