In effect we will be where we were seven months ago. A far cry from the dithering of the knuckle head clown (Macron's apt description) under the thumb of the 100 tory MP pillocks who voted against the mild protections we have had in Wales for many weeks.
Is it only a matter of time before hypocritical behaviour in the Welsh and Scottish political hierachy is exposed?

On the one hand, innocent until proven guilty.
On the other, history, including very recent history, teaches us that hypocritical behaviour in these contexts is very much human nature.
It's not the misbehavior that usually brings politicians down, it is more often the cover up. Johnson gambled that he could bluff it out. Now he's lost any credibility he might have had with most people.

When an SNP MP broke the rules by traveling after a positive test, the SNP dismissed her from the party

Wont happen in Wales. I used to brief Mark Drakeford and Vaughn Gethin. I attended many meetings with them and got to know them fairly well. If any member of the Welsh Government flouted the covid rules it would end their political careers and they know it.

Comparisons cannot be made between the devolved administrations and the most corrupt, inept incompetent government Westminster has ever seen. Mark Drakeford spoke of his recent conversation with the knucklehead clown today. Johnson told him the Omicron situation is serious but he is not going to do anything about it.

The crowd have been singing songs about Boris Johnson at the darts world championship in norf Lundun.

Well, Johnson has done a fair few 180s this year...

Here's an interesting little *nugget* of information...

Image

If the name sounds familiar, that's probably because Bas is Sajid Javid's little brother,

Bas Javid is Deputy Assistant Commissioner in charge of Professional Standards for the Met, and he is also ultimately in charge of Covid policing and - I kid you not - he is in charge of policing parties that breach Covid restrictions. I know this because Bas wrote about how he was in charge of the Met's Covid policing last year in The Spectator.
One of my jobs is ‘executive lead’ for frontline policing on Covid, trying to work out how to handle this strange and unsettling situation. The difficulty is finding the right balance. We don’t want to alienate the public but we need to uphold the law, and we must find our way without being too distracted by the media — and by critics who say we’re too hard one minute and the next that we’re not enforcing the regulations enough
Obviously, it would be wrong of me to cast aspersions on Baz's ability to do his job due to, perhaps, legal obligations and family obligations conflicting, but still, it does give one pause for thought, doesn't it?.

Sir Bernard Hogan-Howe’s flagship slogan of “total policing” was quietly phased out by Cressida Dick when she took over, and she substituted the phrase, "We lead, others follow" in its stead. I think I preferred Sir Bernard's take on policing because I get the distinct feeling that the only place Cressida Dick & Co. aim to lead us is up the garden path, and a very long way up it at that.

There are Tory party puppets planted everywhere. There is no hope.
