Any thoughts on Tangerine dream. ?
Listening to T.D. - THIEF (Violent street's - sound track)
And its bloody good.
An old movie starring James Cann - Robbery / Heist.
Cheers jammy.
Great film. I think Michael Mann was involved, and in some ways it's a precursor to 'Heat'.

Back on topic, I'm getting a lot out of Throbbing Gristle at the moment. Actually amazing stuff. And the first three Wire albums never let me down.

Aphex Twin with Blue Calx and the wonderfully titled Rhubarb. More ambient than avant-garde perhaps, but worth a listen if you're feeling laid back.

I was actually involved with the two guys who made this one, and got my one and only "official" sleeve credit on it because I built some of the (very basic) effect pedals for Phil the guitarist.
