Re: Lentek.
Is there a Latin equivalent of - "GET IT RIGHT FUKIN UP YE".
Once king Salmond is on the Scottish throne all Latin will be banned - And abusers hanged.

Re: Lentek.
Doc and Shane,
Yeah, Lentek was the company of Phil Swift (who's barely changed in nearly forty years, unlike the rest of us - well Doc and I anyway ) and Derek Scotland. This amp was expensive to make and the Audiolabs were textbook single PCB builds - nowt wrong with that in mass production.
As for the AP20, the two couldn't be more opposite in almost every way if they tried. They use transistors and related passive components but diverge hugely from there. I think the AP20 when used properly would come far closer to the recording and the direct musical/production message (the two go hand in hand IMO) is far better reproduced I suspect (I've not heard a Lentek since 1978 or thereabouts as it was an expensive £600 back then - the Audiolab 8000A started around £225 - £250 IIRC some years later)

Hanging on in quiet desperation is the English way...The time has gone, The song is over, Thought I'd something more to say...

Re: Lentek.
Jammy - All I said was "may the force be with you"
If they made me a Lord (heaven forbid) I would have to have a shield and a Latin saying. That would be mine.

"Sit vis vobiscum" - "May the force be with you"..........A noble verse on your coat of arms indeed Doc......
I do like Shane's though.
"Tempus non possim volanti" - "I could'nt give a flying fuck"......
