I aint interested if your watch cost £10 or £10,000 , it makes no difference to me .

Use mine to tell the time - faster and less obtrusive than getting out mobile 'phone.
Also far prefer analogue to digital display - my brain takes in/utilises the information faster.

Although, you do have a point about them being a status symbol for some people, but the same could be said about any jewelry/clothing/car/ etc. etc.

I have a smart phone but I don't use it as a watch. Far too big and clumsy. Plus I often forget to take it with me whereas my watch is always on my wrist unless I'm in the shower.

I also prefer analogue as well Guy.......And a Quartz movement rather than automatic.
