Silly me, one important point I forgot to mention, as this is a loan service shipping costs are down to the loanee. Averages about £12 each way, or if passed on to another customer then just the one way.

At the moment what is available for loan is.

P90
Can be fitted with stepped attenuators
A30
A40
AP20
Phono1
Phono2
In either MM or MC
Cubettes (when dem units come back from NEBO)
CUBE3

With the amps speaker cable will be loaned as well.

There will be only one of each obviously so there may end up being a wait and the item passed on.

I will see as time goes on what I can add to the list.

Well they won't be on loan for long Doc. It will lead to a sale within days if my experience is anything to go by.

Well that is what I think which is why I have done it. My problem is getting people to hear NVA, once they hear it most buy it, even if they have to wait to sell existing gear. A couple of years ago I had a spate of Naim users changing to NVA, that is far less now that PFM have banned NVA being talked about there. Anyway everyone of them came out of the deal with spare cash as the second hand value of their Naim was more than my new price.

So for me it is looking for ways to get people to listen to it. What doesn't help is the concerted effort by some people in the industry and forums to try and make that not happen because I am such a threat to the status quo.

If someone wants to keep the loan kit - will they have to pay full-price or will there be a used/demo discount ??

Or do they have to return the loaner and buy a new one at standard price ??

They can do either but they will be at full price. The dem unit might be a new to them first jobby.

If it makes your life easier I can post the Cubettes to the next demo and they can reimburse me for the cost.

Don't mind really, whatever you decide.

Have to say this is a fantastic idea, always wanted to hear NVA, bought damaged AP10H but still yet to listen. Also know someone else who is very interested as well.

Nice idea Doc. I have been thinking about new speakers and possibly cables for a long time but have been reticent to make a purchase on the grounds that the new might not be better than the old. I can see this leading to a lot of people borrowing and ultimately buying kit. Cube 3 could be just what I am looking for
