Commissar (sometimes Kommissar) is an English transliteration of the Russian: комисса́р, which means commissary. In English, the transliteration "commissar" is used to refer specifically to Communist political officers, while administrative officers are translated to "commissary".

Putin is not a Commissar, that term is now buried in the Communist era. Tell it as it is, he is the head of the Russian Mafia, nothing more, but sadly the Russian Mafia now runs the country. Don Putioni by another name. Bribe him like Abramovich did with a yacht recently and pay lip service and don't interfere with politics and he wont kill you. Step out of line and he gets the Chechens to kill you (in the old Communist days it was the Bulgars who did it).

That is the last thing they should do, it has to be done from within, and they know it.

I have been having a real giggle today at stories Nadia has told that feed perfectly my prejudices against religion and the Russian Government under Putin. The Russian Patriach the head of the Orthodox church has met the Catholic Pope in Cuba today. The Russian religious mafia meeting the Italian religious mafia

Vladimir Mikhailovich Gundyayev or as know before by his KGB name Mikhail was appointed with the *approval* of Putin and is known to be one of his ruling mafia of ex KGB men, hilarious aint it. Known to have salted off a fortune of church money into personal off seas bank accounts the same as the rest of them have done. He is important to Putin as Russia is using the Orthodox church to promote Russianess at the expense both democracy and reality. It has been the same for centuries, the Tzars did it as well. The way to control the Russian people and keep them patriotic (and drunk) is through copious amounts of cheap Vodka and religion, and so it always was.

Jammy they had a people revolution remember, probably along with the French one the most famous. In both cases it led to dictatorship, that is the danger.

Marx himself had expected that The Revolution would most likely happen in an industrialised land like England or Germany.

It did... in both instances. Just that their armies and rulers were a little more on-the-ball than the Russians clearly were.

We are being played with. The problem is all dictators, and that is what Putin is now, are chancers and get to believe they are omnipotent. The more the games that work the more the games he will try. We have gone some way to it with the sanctions, but in his mind that just means he will find a way to hurt us back i.e. the migrants, because that is the way his mind works, he is vindictive because he lacks *real* confidence, hence his constant showing off, a bit like Marco, that is the personality. In power Marco would be a vicious vindictive dictator of the level of Mussolini, so luckily he only has a piddly little forum to dominate.

Like Marco the ONLY way to deal with these people is to stand up to them, just say NO! and put cost in front of him when and where he wants to play games, BUT that will cost us financially, but we must learn the lessons of the 1930's *you cannot appease dictators*.
